Weekend Wrap-up

March 23, 2008

Hello Friends

There are few important updates so please read the complete post. First of all Happy Easter and I hope you are enjoying the holidays. Market is expected to be slow again on Mon, however marker will be in full swing for rest of the four days. Last week I didn’t took many daily trades but traded 4Hr Squeeze-More quite frequently. I’ve also started trading Squeeze-More on Managed accounts risking only 0.5-1% of total equity. I will increase this to 1-2% in coming weeks as we gain more confidence.

I am still re-considering sending out daily signals after receiving several hundred emails asking to do so and also to add 4Hr Squeeze-More. I’ll probably make up my mind a week or so. In the meantime try to learn and don’t hesitate to ask questions on the forum.

Regarding Chat room poll, Skype seems to win over mIRC, however Skype has a limitation of 100 users and in long run it won’t scale well. Hence I would recommend to use mIRC, you can find the instructions here. I would still spend most of my time on the forums since it helps to build database for future reference :)

If you are using ODL MT4 demo for charting then you would have noticed that most CAD pairs are not showing up. I called up ODL and they said that some traders were taking unfair advantage of some sort on those pairs. InterbankFX seems to have EUR/CAD & AUD/CAD and I would use their demo along with ODL for now. I am also looking for broker which offer GBP/CAD and CAD/JPY.

Regarding Managed Accounts I’ve opened few more slots and feel free to drop an email at support@ozfx.com.au to get more info. For existing clients please mail me at admin@ozfx.com.au if you have questions.

Enjoy the rest of the holidays :)

Market Outlook: Mar’ 20

March 20, 2008

Hello Friends,

Yesterday’s market clearly showed that whatever move US Govt. is making to help the economy is simply rejected by the market. Last night Dow went down again after the rally caused by Rate cut. Also all JPY crosses are on their way down to previous levels. However USD in general seemed to have gain some strength as we see some red candles on EUR/USD and other USD pairs.

Resulting from this we have seen swings in both directions and it has made a little harder to trade on Daily charts. However if you go down to 4 hr chart we see some incredible trading opportunity. I’ve been trading Squeeze-More live on my personal account and having great success. Moving forward I’ll be using it more frequently and also applying it on Managed Accounts. If you are new to Squeeze-More then I would recommend not to risk more than 1% of account equity.

The rules for Squeeze-More remains the same, however I am only taking strong signals. Last nights EUR/CHF and EUR/GBP were both successful. A few JPY pair did excellent as well.

Today I don’t see any good trade on Daily chart and will look for Squeeze-More trades.

Cheers,
Oz

Market Outlook: Mar’ 19

March 19, 2008

Hello Friends,

Today I’ll be looking at 4 hr Squeeze-More trades again. Most pairs are going against their trend after FOMC rate.

If you trade daily then I would recommend not to risk more than 2% of your equity. In regards to my previous email I see a lot people still wanting the signals. I am reconsidering my decision about stopping them, however in the meantime please try and trade on your own.

Cheers,
Oz

Important Changes

March 18, 2008

Hello Friends,

I am making few changes to the way we do things and hope to make it better.

1. I’ve removed Total Pips from my signature and would like everyone to have their own tally and record of their trades.

2. Following today there will not be any signals at 00GMT. However I will send an email few hours earlier stating what pairs I am looking at and potential trades. This would help everyone to make their own trading decisions and would give me some spare time to do other things.

3. I’ve added “Chat Room” link to my signature, please utilize this to ask questions and help each other. This room would be up 24/7 (thanks to “catch22″)

In my opinion changes above are positive and would help everyone to trade on their own. I would also like to request everyone to extend their support on the forums and “give back” if possible.

I’ve opened a thread here and I would appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Cheers,
Oz

Market Outlook: Mar’ 17

March 17, 2008

Hello Friends,

I don’t see any good trades today. I would be cautious to enter new positions this week and would recommend only risking 1-2% of total account equity. I’ll take use this time to further improve Squeeze-More strategy and would be looking for possible trades based on it. Please note that that no official signals are send for Squeeze-More.

I also see a lot pairs has gaped on open and you might see pullbacks during first few hours of trading.

Open positions from past weeks:
1. EUR/JPY - Short - 4th lot closed at +200
2. AUD/JPY - Short - 4th lot closed at +200
3. NZD/JPY - Short - 4th lot closed at +200
4. EUR/GBP - Long - 3rd lot closed at +150

We would discuss the trades here.

Back Online :)

March 15, 2008

Hello Friends,

Please accept my apologies for the website and email being down for the last 24 Hr. I am extremely disappointed with my hosting company especially when they promise to offer 24/7/365 service.

Anyways we are back in business now and everything should be as per normal. I posted today’s trade and results on Forex Factory and feel free to check them there.

Increased Volatility

March 13, 2008

Hello Friends,

We are seeing some extreme volatility in the market and I suspect further intervention by the US (Central Bank or FOMC) in coming days. I would be focusing on Squeeze-More to capture short term trends that seems to be pretty strong right now.

Please note that there will not be any official signals for Squeeze-More.

Cheers,
Oz

AUD/CAD Closed

March 13, 2008

Hello Friends ,

Price failed to reach our 50 pips TP by few pips and pulled back all the way down to -20. At this stage I’ve closed AUD/CAD and would look at shorter time frames to recover the pips.

Month Total - 175

Cheers,
Oz
